Jayli Clothing is a small, family owned company committed to making the world a better place through commerce. Our mission extends to fulfilling our manufacturers and their employees needs as much as possible, while conducting our business with integrity and care. Environmental integrity, both abroad and at home, has always been a cornerstone for Jayli.
We are one of the first companies to completely eliminate the use of plastic bags which otherwise may reach our oceans and landfills.
And for over 25 years we have diligently used only recycled boxes. Jayli also supports Environment California, Clean Water Action and Surfrider Foundation. For decades Jayli has helped cultivate independence for the women of Kathmandu,
working closely with a Women’s Cooperative, which sets their own price for their work and how and when they work. The women of the Cooperative are able to maintain traditional roles as wives and mothers while also a house hold financial contributor with flexible hours. Jayli products are manufactured in both Nepal and Thailand, in intimate, family owned factories.
Every year we travel to our factories to spend time with those beautiful people crafting our Jayli garments. Each year we are pleased to report all employees feel safe and are well compensated. Jayli Clothing takes pride in that our presence in Nepal and Thailand helps to employ and in turn support many families. The work we provide gives workers the means to send their children to school,
better their lives and provide stability for their families. Our hearts and souls go into creating each new Jayli collection every year.
Although not yet Fair Trade Certified, our businesses practises allow us to feel comfortable enough to say all our products are Consciously Made and Fairly Traded.
